Happening This Week

I just want to say thank you for the your most generous expression of gratitude for Pastor Appreciation Month. I consider myself quite blessed to be the pastor of the Colbert-Comer Charge. These past five years have been a great season of personal, professional, and spiritual growth and challenge. I continue to look forward to what God’s will has in store for our joint ministry together.

I also hope you can participate in the following events taking place this week:
The prayer team will meet on Tuesday at 9:30 am.
Crafters will meet on Tuesday at 10 am.
Ministry Council will meet on Tuesday at 6 pm. (The bulletin had the wrong date printed)
Covenant Bible Study continues this Wednesday. We will study session 4. All are welcomed to the study. We will be meeting at Comer UMC at 6 pm.
Friday October 31-Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 8 pm.
This Sunday we will celebrate All Saints Day. It is a special day when we remember the faithful who have died in the Lord and give thanks for their presence in our lives. We will also celebrate Holy Communion.
