Happening This Week

For all the saints, who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy Name, O Jesus, be forever blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

The French novelist Leon Bloy once wrote, “The only real sadness, the only real failure, the only great tragedy in life, is not to become a saint.”

I pray that this week we all can grow in God’s love and grace and work towards becoming the saints and children of God we are called to be.

I also hope you can participate in the following events taking place this week:

  • The United Methodist Women will meet tonight at 6 pm.
  • The prayer team will meet on Tuesday at 9:30 am.
  • Crafters will meet on Tuesday at 10 am.
  • The Board of Stewards will meet on Wednesday at 6 pm.
  • Charge Conference will be this Sunday at 4:30 pm at Winterville UMC.

I pray you will slow down and experience the presence of God and see the Kingdom of God in your midst,
