Colbert United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)

The youth at Colbert UMC are passionate, inspiring and full of life and are part of a growing ministry that thrives to be a positive part of a loving, supportive community. Youth 6th-12th grades are welcome to join Colbert UMYF on Wednesday evenings, 5:30-7pm in the Family Life Center for a meal, fellowship, games and personal growth.

D.C. Mission Trip 2017

Our youth participated in a relational mission trip with Experience Mission in Washington, DC in June 2017. We worked with the homeless and hungry, those needing to be fed spiritually, and with children in a multi-international community. While serving others, we were fed. “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit–fruit that will last–and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16

Savannah Mission Trip 2015

Our youth went on a mission trip to Savannah in June 2015 where we helped rebuild community in impoverished areas, worked with children at-risk, and provided our hearts and hands to help make repairs on an equine therapy farm.
