We are accepting vendor reservations to sell gift items. Only handcrafted or new items allowed—no used or yard sale merchandise please. Spaces are $10/table. Here is a brief welcome biography from Rev. Kathy Wilkins Brockman​. Rev. Brockton will be coming to serve Colbert and Comer UMC in June.

I am a life-long Methodist and a second career pastor. I graduated from Candler School of Theology in 2013 with a Masters of Divinity and have worked for two years at Oak Grove UMC in Decatur as the assistant to the Senior Pastor. I am currently serving as the pastor of Trinity UMC in Duluth.

In my first career, I worked as an auditor and fraud investigator in the banking and insurance industries. After my children were born, I worked as a “professional volunteer”, a Kindergarten teacher and as a substitute teacher. When I fully discerned God’s call upon my life was to serve in full-time pastoral ministry, I applied to Candler and have been working toward ordination as an Elder in the United Methodist Church.

My husband, Bard, and I have two sons. Our oldest, Ben, just finished his freshman year at UGA. Jonathon is completing his sophomore year at Lakeside High School in Atlanta. Bard works for a law firm in Midtown Atlanta where he concentrates in commercial litigation.

I look forward to getting to know the people of Comer and Colbert and serving with you as we together serve God and God’s people. I am in prayer for an easy transition for us and for Hugh.
